More than 400 gifted CBU music and theatre students join forces to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.


Performances will be held at the Dale E. and Sarah Ann Fowler Events Center on the CBU campus in Riverside.

Frankenstein

Childlike in his innocence but grotesque in form, Frankenstein's bewildered creature is cast out into a hostile universe by his horror-struck maker. Meeting with cruelty wherever he goes, the friendless Creature, increasingly desperate and vengeful, determines to track down his creator and strike a terrifying deal.

Dietrich and Maria

Dietrich and Maria is a Broadway-styled musical that looks at how a pastor and his young fiancé confront the human atrocities of Nazi Germany. A wide variety of musical styles, including African-American Gospel music, is employed to tell this heart-rending, yet triumphant story of a man in love with both his fiancé – and justice – and having to choose between one or the other.

Murder on the Orient Express - A Comedy

Just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the Orient Express in its tracks. An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed eight times, his door locked from the inside. Isolated and with a killer in their midst, the passengers rely on detective Hercule Poirot to identify the murderer – in case he or she decides to strike again.

The Hunchback ofNotre Dame

Based on the Victor Hugo novel and songs from the Disney animated feature, The Hunchback of Notre Dame showcases the film’s Academy Award-nominated score, as well as new songs by Menken and Schwartz. Peter Parnell’s new book embraces story theatre and features verbatim passages from Hugo’s gothic novel.
